She loved

She was a beautiful and loving woman, my grandma that is. She loved to joke around and kid with me. She loved to say things that made me laugh forever. She loved taking care of me. She loved playing cards with me even though i beat her a lot. She loved the mornings that i joined her in bed and tickled her until she woke up. She loved driving me around in the golf cart even though she did not play the game. She loved watching Lamp Chops with me. She loved doing crafts and making art. She loved France. She loved speaking in French the words she knew. She loved San Francisco. She loved our summer family trips. She loved her flowers and plants. She loved orange and red. She loved anything chocolate. She loved her martini at 4 o'clock everyday. She loved clumps of butter on her bread and salt on her food. She loved her husband's (Miles) fantastic cooking. She loved repeating stories about things that i did or said. She loved taking care of sick family members. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her husband, 4 children, and 5 grandchildren so very much. She loved her 'darling' granddaughter so much that now it is so hard without her. It is hard without her, but i know that she loved God. i know she loved god because if she did not love him i do not know how she would have loved all of these things. because she loved god she was able to be peaceful and leave this earth and join heaven. i know that when she passed she saw jesus' face which is a great assurance. i know that someday in the future i will be able to see her again, where we will be reunited and be able to enjoy all the things of eternal life together. My 'Mako' grandma that is, was a wonderful woman and i loved her very much will be missed. And as time goes by it will get easier, but for now i just have to remember the fun times.
